Questions people ask

Do I get my plane ticket money back from all the insurance companies?

No, Swiss Travel Security is the only Swiss customer insurance that also covers individual services.

How do I know that a travel agency is a member of Swiss Travel Security?

Under https://www.swisstravelsecurity.ch/en/find-sts-member, you can search for your travel agency. By completing the process at the time of your booking, you can be sure that your money will be covered in case the travel agency goes bankrupt.

Why do I need insurance?

Travel is generally payable in advance. If the travel agency goes bankrupt after your payment, before you travel, Swiss Travel Security will reimburse you for your travel expenses or ensure a secure trip.

Why shouldn’t I just book on any website?

Some providers on the internet are not serious. Be careful with the Swiss Travel Security logo before booking. Make sure you’re covered on https://www.swisstravelsecurity.ch/en/find-sts-member and the travel agency is also safe, so you’re sure your money is covered.
